NADRA launched new service to make buying and selling vehicles easier for citizens.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new service to make buying and selling vehicles easier for citizens.
NADRA, which is responsible for issuing identity documents to Pakistanis at home and abroad, has expanded its services to support sectors that require identity verification.
As part of the initiative, the authority released version 5.6.8 of the Pak ID mobile app, introducing new features for vehicle-related services.
In partnership with the Government of Balochistan, the updated app now provides digital vehicle cards for vehicles registered in Balochistan. It also includes a biometric verification feature for vehicle buyers and sellers, according to a NADRA statement.

The authority said the services can now be accessed from home, making the vehicle verification and transfer process easier, faster and more secure.
Earlier, NADRA introduced self-service kiosks. Through the kiosks, citizens can renew their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
Users can also apply for a replacement NICOP if their card is lost or damaged. In addition, citizens can use the kiosks to cancel the NICOP of a deceased family member. The self-service kiosks are currently available at selected NADRA centers.
