In what could be described as unexpected, French President Emmanuel Macron used Kanye West’s hit track Runaway in his social media post.
The post is a video clip of the 48-year-old announcing and celebrating his government’s recent decision to crack down on social media for children.
Lawmakers in France – in lockstep with a growing number of countries – have approved a ban on preventing under-15s from accessing social media.
“I had committed to it, and now it’s been voted on: social media will be banned for those under 15 starting back-to-school,” he wrote in the caption.
“Thanks to the parliamentarians. It’s up to the Constitutional Council to rule, then on to action to make this measure concrete and protect our children online,” the post read.
But away from his music milestone, reports say Ye’s married life is on the rocks.
According to Globe Magazine, “Bianca has put up with so much from Kanye.”
“Everyone says she’s got the patience of a saint to stay married to him but at some point, her patience is going to run out,” the insider shared.
Allegedly frustrated by West, Censori, the source said, even tried to leave him several times.
“Every time, he’s managed to lure her back by promising her the world and insisting everything was going to change,” the insider added.
