The government has increased the prices of petroleum products for a two-day period, with the new rates coming into effect on Aug. 26 and 27.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.12 per liter, while high-speed diesel has become Rs1.11 per liter more expensive.
Following the increase, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs343.10 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs371.80 per liter.
The revised prices will remain in effect for two days, Wednesday and Thursday, August 26 and 27.
