Footage online showed the ‘looksmaxxing’ influencer being carried by several individuals as emergency services arrived
Kick streamer and influencer Clavicular has been hospitalised following a suspected overdose during a livestream, TMZ reports.
Braden Peters, who operates under the name Clavicular, was taken to hospital on Tuesday evening and is currently in “stable condition”. He remained in hospital as of Tuesday night.
Earlier that day, Peters had been broadcasting on the streaming platform Kick when the livestream abruptly ended, prompting concern among viewers. Footage later circulated on X showed the influencer being carried by several individuals to a black car as emergency services arrived at the scene.
Despite being contacted for further details, the Miami Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department have released no additional information at the time of publication.
Clavicular has built an online following through content focused on “looksmaxxing”, a trend centred on improving physical appearance. The movement ranges from conventional grooming practices to more extreme methods.
Peters has drawn criticism for promoting controversial techniques, including bone-smashing to alter facial features.
The influencer has also been involved in recent controversies. Earlier this week, he appeared in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia but walked out after being questioned about whether he identifies as an incel and his alleged links to Andrew Tate.
During the exchange, he responded defensively and made remarks directed at the interviewer.
In addition, Peters is reportedly under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission over a video that appears to show him shooting an alligator.
The New York Times also reported that he was arrested last month in Florida on a misdemeanour battery charge, with authorities alleging he provoked a physical altercation between two women and shared the footage online.
