Xiaomi has launched several new smart devices, including the smart band 10 Pro, watch S5, buds 6, and the sound play speaker. The company revealed the products during its latest global event. The new devices bring better battery life, brighter displays, improved sound quality, and updated designs.
Smart band 10 Pro comes with a 1.74 inch display that supports a 60Hz refresh rate and 16.8 million colors. The screen is now brighter and can reach up to 2,000 nits. The previous model reached 1,200 nits.
The band keeps the same 350mAh battery and offers up to 21 days of light use, 15 days of normal use, and 8 days with the always on display enabled.
The new smart band is thinner and lighter than the older version. Xiaomi also added new health sensors with a dual light PD sensor. The company says the sleep tracking system is now more accurate. The smart band 10 Pro starts at €80, while the NFC and Ceramic Edition costs €100.
Xiaomi also introduced the Watch S5 as the successor to last year’s Watch S4. The smart watch has a slightly bigger 1.48 inch AMOLED display and a stainless steel frame. It uses a large 815mAh battery that can last up to 21 days on a single charge. The older Watch S4 offered up to 15 days of battery life.
The Watch S5 is also thinner than the previous model. It supports health tracking, fitness features, dual band GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. Xiaomi will sell the smart watch in Black, Silver, Ceramic Blue, and Jungle Green colors. The watch S5 starts at €179.
Xiaomi buds 6 also bring several upgrades. The ear buds feature a new 11mm triple magnet driver for better sound quality. They support Qualcomm aptX lossless audio with a bit rate of up to 2.1 Mbps.
This is higher than the 1.2 Mbps support on the Buds 5. Xiaomi says the new earbuds also offer stronger noise cancellation.
Buds 6 have a slimmer and lighter design for a more comfortable fit. Xiaomi improved airflow and increased the contact area for better comfort during long use. The buds 6 are priced at €120.
Xiaomi also launched the new sound play speaker. The portable speaker delivers 18W sound output and weighs 415 grams. It comes with an IP68 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. Xiaomi says the speaker can run for up to 14 hours on one charge.
Sound Play supports TWS pairing, allowing two speakers to play together. Xiaomi also says users can connect up to 100 devices through Auracast support. The speaker includes ambient lighting and comes in orange, blue, green, and purple colors. The Xiaomi Sound Play speaker is priced at €50.
