Turkey President Erdoğan condemns Israeli strike on Iran, calls it ‘Open Provocation’

ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s recent airstrike on Iran, calling it a blatant act of provocation and a serious threat to regional stability.

In a televised statement, Erdoğan declared the Israeli assault a “clear violation of international law” and accused Tel Aviv of pushing the region, particularly Gaza, toward widespread bloodshed and chaos.

“Israel has now brought the entire region to the brink of destruction,” Erdoğan said, stressing that the Netanyahu administration is attempting to drag not just the Middle East, but the whole world into devastation.

He went on to demand urgent action from the international community, stating, “The world must no longer remain silent. It is time to stop Israel’s ongoing massacres.”

The Turkish president’s remarks come amid growing global concern over the escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran. With both sides exchanging threats and attacks, regional powers are increasingly stepping in to call for de-escalation.

Erdoğan’s condemnation adds to mounting international pressure on Israel, as fears of a wider regional conflict continue to intensify.
