Swift is nominated for Single of the Year for ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’, an original song written for ‘Toy Story 5’
Taylor Swift has confirmed she will attend the 2026 CMA Awards, marking her first appearance at the ceremony in 10 years.
The 36-year-old singer confirmed her plans in an Instagram Stories post on Thursday, September 10, following the announcement of this year’s nominations.
Swift will attend the ceremony on November 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
“LOOKS LIKE I HAVEN’T YEE’D MY LAST HAW THANK YOU CMA!!!! See you there Nov. 18 🤠,” Swift wrote.

Swift is nominated for Single of the Year for “I Knew It, I Knew You”, an original song written for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
The track was produced by Jack Antonoff and engineered by Laura Sisk.
The nomination marks another connection to Swift’s country music career.
She last attended the CMA Awards in 2016, when she presented Garth Brooks with the Entertainer of the Year Award.
Swift has won 12 CMA Awards throughout her career. A victory this year would take her total to 13.
She faces competition in the Single of the Year category from Ella Langley’s “Be Her” and “Choosin’ Texas”, Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo” and Cody Johnson’s “The Fall”.
The nomination follows the song reaching No. 1 on US country radio, giving Swift her first chart-topper in the format in 13 years.
The 60th annual CMA Awards will be hosted by Lainey Wilson and broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 18.
