Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner share courtside hug at Knicks game amid long-running Kardashian history

The moment comes nearly a decade after Swift’s feud with Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West
Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner shared a friendly courtside moment at Madison Square Garden on June 10 as the New York Knicks secured victory in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
The singer was seen greeting and hugging Jenner following the Knicks’ win in New York City. Swift attended the game alongside Alana Haim, Este Haim and Mariska Hargitay, while Jenner was joined by her boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, a well-known Knicks supporter.
Footage circulating on social media showed the pair exchanging greetings and embracing briefly as celebrations unfolded after the final buzzer.
The interaction quickly drew attention online, given Swift’s long and highly publicised history with Jenner’s older sister, Kim Kardashian.
The moment comes nearly a decade after Swift’s feud with Kardashian and rapper Kanye West dominated entertainment headlines. The dispute escalated in 2016 when Kardashian released clips of a phone conversation between West and Swift regarding lyrics in West’s song “Famous”.
At the time, Swift denied approving the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” while West maintained that she had agreed to the reference.
Speaking to TIME in December 2023, Swift reflected on the controversy and its impact on her life and career.
“Make no mistake — my career was taken away from me,” she said.
“You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”
Despite the years of tension, Kardashian revealed earlier this year on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast that she still listens to some of Swift’s music.
“I have some of her older songs in my playlist,” Kardashian said. “I’ve always thought she was a super talented, great artist.”
