Tatas propose to set up Rs 40,ooo-crore chip plant: Assam CM – Times of India

GUWAHATI: Tata Electronics has submitted a proposal to the Centre for setting up a semiconductor processing plant in Assam with an investment of Rs 40,000 crore, chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday.
