Scooter Braun is reportedly supportive of Sydney Sweeney’s work on Euphoria, including the explicit scenes that have drawn renewed attention online around her character Cassie Howard.
A source told Page Six that Braun has no issue with the nature of Sweeney’s performances in the HBO series, which has featured increasingly provocative storylines since it premiered in 2019.
“Scooter has absolutely no issue with Sydney’s more provocative scenes in ‘Euphoria’ or any of the work she does as an actress,” the insider said. “He fully understands that it’s part of her job and respects how dedicated she is to her craft.”
The source added that their relationship is built on trust and mutual support, saying: “Their relationship is very secure, and there’s a strong level of trust between them. Scooter isn’t the type to feel threatened by her work or try to control what roles she takes on. He’s incredibly supportive of her career and proud of everything she’s accomplished.”
The insider also said the couple are happy together, noting that “they’re both very happy together and things between them have been going really well.”
The comments come as Euphoria continues to generate discussion over Cassie’s storyline. In a recent episode, Sweeney’s character appeared in a nearly nude scene featuring a photoshoot with a yellow python wrapped around her body, which contributed to renewed online debate about the show’s increasingly explicit content.
Sweeney has played Cassie Howard since Euphoria first premiered on HBO in 2019, with the role becoming one of her most recognisable performances.
Braun and Sweeney’s relationship first became public in September following reports they met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in 2025.
The couple later confirmed their relationship on Instagram, sharing images together from the Stagecoach Music Festival in 2026.
Sweeney was previously engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, with the engagement ending in 2025.
