Saudi Arabia on Wednesday condemned what it described as Iranian attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, calling them a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the three countries and warning that such actions undermine efforts aimed at de-escalation and restoring stability in the region.
According to a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the kingdom expressed its condemnation and denunciation “in the strongest terms” of the alleged Iranian attacks and what it called flagrant violations of the sovereignty of Bahrain, Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The statement said Saudi Arabia considered the attacks a threat to the security, territorial integrity, and airspace of the three countries.

“The continuation of such attacks threatens regional and international security and undermines efforts aimed at de-escalation and the restoration of security and stability in the region,” the ministry added.
The kingdom also reiterated its full solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, and its support for all measures taken by the three countries to safeguard their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
The condemnation came after Iran claimed responsibility for attacks on US forces in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan in retaliation for US strikes on Iranian ports and islands in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement carried by Iranian state media on Wednesday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched drone attacks on the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, as well as a long-range missile strike on an airbase in Azraq, Jordan.
The IRGC warned that its forces remained fully prepared to deliver a “crushing and decisive” response to any US military action and said Washington would bear full responsibility for the consequences of further escalation.
The latest flare-up came after the US military attacked Qeshm Island and ports along the Iranian coast in the Strait of Hormuz after accusing Iran of downing a US Apache helicopter on Tuesday.
Following the exchange of strikes, US President Donald Trump claimed in a social media post that Tehran was delaying a deal aimed at ending the war.

“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them,” he wrote. “Now they will have to pay the price.”
The latest escalation has once again cast doubt over prospects for peace and a potential agreement, which had appeared within reach, as the conflict entered its fourth month and continued to disrupt international supply routes and the global economy.
A day earlier, the US president had said the two sides were just two or three days away from reaching an agreement.
