Bugti urged the former president to build a modern hospital in Turbat, similar to the one the PPP built in Sukkur.

He said the PPP will prove to be the party that will transform the narrative against Pakistan.

‘Pakistan never understood Balochistan’

While addressing the workers’ convention, Zardari stated that Pakistan never understood Balochistan. “Islamabad never understood Balochistan… it also does not understand Punjab, Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa,” Zardari remarked.

He said that it was election period. Every party wants to come to power, but the PPP’s desire to come to power is to serve the people, he said.

“We will build Pakistan and Balochistan. For us, Balochistan comes first, the rest of the provinces later,” the PPP leader said.

He added that the Baloch youth has been forgotten by everyone. Referring to the large number of young Baloch men and women who have left the country, Zardari said that “we want them to come back”. “We will serve them,” he said, adding that other countries will not take care of us.

Zardari urged the people of Balochistan to show support for the PPP in the upcoming elections, on February 8, 2024.

Addressing the youth of Balochistan, Zardari assured that his party would ensure construction of medical universities, colleges, and hospitals in every district of Balochistan.

“There are many resources in the province; there is a lot of room for progress,” he added.
