Queen Camilla visits Wimbledon and is joined by actor who played her husband

Queen also met a ball boy, a ball girl, and several long-serving staff members.

Britain’s Queen Camilla made her customary visit to Wimbledon on Wednesday and was joined in the Royal Box by an actor who once portrayed her husband.

Queen Camilla, the wife of King Charles III, visited the All England Club on Day 10 of Wimbledon for the fourth consecutive year. She wore a light blue dress as she took her seat on Centre Court to watch the women’s quarterfinal between Jasmine Paolini and Marta Kostyuk.

Among the guests in the Royal Box were actors Elle Fanning and Dominic West, who received an Emmy nomination for portraying King Charles in the Netflix series The Crown.

After Kostyuk’s victory, Camilla surprised British wild card Arthur Fery and Italy’s Flavio Cobolli by greeting them and shaking their hands before they walked onto Centre Court for their match.

Before play began, the queen also met with a ball boy, a ball girl, and several longtime staff members at the All England Club.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, who is the patron of the All England Club, visited Wimbledon last week. During her visit, she met fans waiting in the famous queue outside the grounds and sat alongside two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray while watching the matches.
