Prince Harry has lost one of his longest standing allies and its all come to a head despite him planning his return to the royal fold within the next month.
For those still unaware of this plan, the Sussexes are said to be planning a stint in the UK, that is for “an extended period of time” but for now no details have been divulged.
However, despite now being closer to his family, and cousins like Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, he seems to be facing a giant ice wall as “they’re not in touch”.
A well-placed source exposed this in their chat with Hello! and that conversation saw him get pretty candid right off the bat.
According to the insider, the Duke has “very few friends left from before” on average.
The source was also quoted saying, “Harry and Meghan are not so close to Beatrice and Eugenie anymore, and Harry did not see Eugenie over the summer in Portugal.”
Moreover, “Beatrice and Eugenie are not even in touch – and Eugenie was once so close to him.”
According to the same source there wasn’t even any effort to meet up when the Sussexes were over in Portugal during Archie and Lilibet’s summer vacations. They described the lack of any connection in their own words and said, “they didn’t even see each other when they were over in Portugal recently, probably because Eugenie was so heavily pregnant, but it’s a real difference to how close they used to be, so close that they let Eugenie and Jack stay in Frogmore cottage, remember when they needed a place to stay. They’re not that close anymore.”
