Prince Harry has spoken about what he considers one of the biggest mistakes of his life as he reflected on the backlash he faced over the incident.
In his memoir Spare, published in 2023, Harry shared personal details about his life and explained how he felt about some of the most widely discussed moments in his past.
Harry said wearing a Nazi uniform to a costume party in 2005 was a poor decision that had a lasting impact on his life.
In the memoir, he also placed some of the blame for the incident on his brother, Prince William, and his sister-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales. Harry claimed they laughed when they saw the costume and “howled with laughter” at his outfit before the party.
