Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reported return to the UK might be a ticking bomb for the monarchy, especially for his brother Prince William.

Following the reports of Harry’s move back from Southern California, where he lived for six years after leaving his royal duties, to his home country later this month, a royal reporter, Tom Sykes, claimed that it could “create serious risks” for the palace and “it’s a huge slap in the face for William.”

The reporter told Page Six that Harry’s return can potentially create “huge succession challenges” for the Prince of Wales, given their longstanding feud.

He questioned, “What is gonna happen if Charles invites Harry to join the royal family for Christmas? What is gonna happen if Harry wants to attend the Remembrance Day celebrations?”

The royal reporter also claimed that there is “no way” King Charles III “did not know” about Harry’s return in advance.

In his opinion, “There’s no way that the late Queen Elizabeth II would’ve allowed this to happen.”

Charles “allowed himself to be manipulated into welcoming them home, ” which is “a very very dangerous situation,” Tom claimed.

Further commenting on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s sudden return to the UK, the reporter suspected “something was afoot” with the couple.

He concluded by remarking the relocation of Harry and Meghan back to the UK is “quite extraordinary” and “a huge moment” for them.
