Porch Guy was ‘pawn’, hidden network behind kidnapping

Ex-FBI agent claims Porch Guy is not a ‘mastermind’ in the Nancy Guthrie case

Over 100 days have passed, and Nancy Guthrie is still missing. She was presumably abducted from her home.

Her alleged captors are at large.

Amid the impasse, former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer floated a theory.

She has been extensively covering the case of Savannah Guthrie’s mother.

In her latest tweet on X, Coffindaffer believes the missing mystery may be linked to a criminal network.

They are known as “Wrench attacks” – a sophisticated crypto-extortion group infamous for violent kidnappings.

The network typically targets wealthy individuals and demands cryptocurrency in return.

Here’s where things get interesting

An ex-FBI agent suggests Nancy’s disappearance may be tied to the gang.

She offered examples.

Nancy update: Porch Guy was pawn, hidden network behind kidnapping

During the investigations, cops have received several ransom emails with Bitcoin wallets attached.

However, the FBI was unable to identify who was behind it.

Jennifer says it shows they are extremely sophisticated and skilful in covering their tracks.

“This case hasn’t been solved because of the sophisticated nature of the architect of the crime,” the expert points out.

‘Porch Guy is not the mastermind’

Sketching her theory, Jennifer adds the front-face – the so-called ‘Porch Guy’ – is not the mastermind.

Instead, he is just a “mope”, according to the ex-FBI officer.

Jennifer implies he may be a cog in a well-oiled criminal network.

Meanwhile, authorities so far have not produced a suspect in Nancy’s case.
