
Pakistani athletes delivered a proud and spirited performance at the Asian Beach Games held in Sanya, China, securing three medals in wrestling along with a strong finish in kabaddi highlighting the country’s growing strength in international beach sports.
In wrestling Asad Ullah showcased remarkable skill and determination in the 80kg category earning a well-deserved silver medal after a hard-fought final against an Iranian opponent.
Veteran wrestler Inam Butt also continued Pakistan’s medal streak by securing silver in the 90kg category following a competitive bout against another Iranian finalist.
In the 70kg category Muhammad Abdullah displayed resilience throughout the competition and secured a bronze medal after a challenging contest against a Kyrgyz opponent adding further value to Pakistan’s overall medal tally.
Adding to the achievement Pakistan’s kabaddi team also secured a bronze medal reflecting strong teamwork, discipline, and consistency on the international stage.
Overall, Pakistan’s athletes demonstrated commendable performance, bringing home multiple medals and reinforcing the country’s presence and potential in beach sports at the Asian level.
