SANIA: A signing ceremony for multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements between Pakistani and Chinese institutions was held to strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
The event was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, along with Senator Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Chief Secretary Sindh, and Pakistan’s Ambassador Khurram H. Hashmi.
During the ceremony, agreements were signed in areas including construction machinery, animal health, and medical technology.
The collaborations aim to enhance the supply of construction equipment and machinery related to China–Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.
The participating sides also agreed to explore investment opportunities for establishing manufacturing facilities in Pakistan.

Separate MoUs were signed between Al-Hassan Trade Establishment, Cini International Development, and Henan Jialong International Technology, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Vice President of Cini Group, also participated in the signing.
Another agreement focused on veterinary vaccines, including foot-and-mouth disease vaccines, along with cooperation on implementing animal traceability systems in Pakistan.
The agreement was signed by Sharjeel Inam Memon and Wang Shanpo, Chairman of Luoyang Modern Technology Group.
In the health sector, a MoU was signed between Dr. Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen V-Bion Technology to promote the use of advanced intelligent robots in clinical medicine. The agreement was signed by Dr. Anoop Kumar Dawani and the Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen V-Bion Technology.
Officials said the agreements reflect growing Pakistan-China cooperation in innovation-driven development and healthcare modernization.
