KARACHI: Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal are participating in the 23rd Asian Individual Squash Championship and the 2nd Asian Squash Doubles Championship in Malaysia.
The individual championship will be held from June 17-21 and the doubles championship is scheduled from June 23-26. According to the draws of the individual championship, both of them are seeded 5/8 and got byes in the first round.
In the doubles championship, they are placed in group B along with players from the Philippines, Singapore, and Korea. According to the draws, they will play their first pool match against the duo of Reymark Begornia and David William Pelino from the Philippines.
Their second pool match is against the Korean pair of Minwoo Lee and Jooyoung Na and their last pool match will be against the Singaporean duo of Jerome Aw and Aaron-Jon Widjaja Liang.
