Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have parted way just five months after becoming parents!
The former couple welcomed their first child, daughter Scottie Rose in December 2025.
With reports of sudden split, insiders have revealed that Davidson and Hewitt are struggling to adjust to co-parenting.
A source told People Magazine that they would “like to be friends” following the breakup. However, it is reportedly “difficult to think about getting to that place right now.”
As per the source, “They’re not getting along right now.”
“They were already struggling a bit while Elsie was pregnant. Things just happened so quickly between them and they didn’t know each other very well,” they added.
Notably, Davidson and Hewitt are said to be “trying to work through” how they’ll co-parent Rose.
Furthermore, sources revealed that Hewitt isn’t “fighting” the SNL alum of seeing their baby. Noting, “Ultimately they’d like to be friends and do things together, but it’s difficult to think about getting to that place right now.”
“He’s a softie and he does want to be with the woman he has a child with. It’s not totally out of the question. The split was mutual,” they added.
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt were first linked in March 2025 and announced pregnancy in July 2025.
Speaking about his life as a father, Davidson told the outlet in March “Dad life is f****** awesome.”
“It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can’t stress enough how lucky I am,” he added at the time.
