Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff file for divorce after three years of marriage
The couple reportedly separated in July, just weeks before their third wedding anniversary
Actor Margaret Qualley and Grammy-winning musician Jack Antonoff have filed for divorce after three years of marriage, according to court records.
The divorce case was filed on Friday, October 30, in Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn, New York. Qualley is listed as the plaintiff and Antonoff as the defendant in the uncontested matrimonial action.
The couple reportedly separated in July, just weeks before their third wedding anniversary. Their representatives have not immediately responded to requests for comment.
Qualley, 32, is known for her roles in films including The Substance and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Antonoff, 42, is a 14-time Grammy Award winner who has worked with major artists including Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Sabrina Carpenter. He is also the frontman of the band Bleachers.
The pair began dating in 2021 and married in August 2023. Their wedding in New Jersey was attended by several high-profile guests, including Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Zoë Kravitz.
News of their separation emerged in July, after Antonoff attended celebrations for Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding without Qualley. The couple had also prompted speculation after Qualley removed wedding photographs from her Instagram account.
Qualley’s representatives previously denied reports that trust issues or infidelity had contributed to the separation, describing those claims as “categorically untrue”.
“There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship,” her team said in a statement at the time.
Antonoff recently addressed performing songs he had written about Qualley following their separation, telling The Guardian that the experience remained “really beautiful”.
The musician said he had considered changing his setlist but ultimately decided to continue performing the songs, explaining that he did not want to rewrite the past or pretend those feelings had never existed.
The couple have not publicly commented on their divorce filing.
