Local holiday declared in Punjab district
The Deputy Commissioner of Attock has declared a local holiday in the district on Thursday, August 28, for the annual Urs of the famous Sufi saint Hazrat Sakhi Sultan in Attock Khurd.
According to the notification, all government offices and educational institutions under the district administration will be closed on that day, except for essential services.
The Urs of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan is celebrated every year with great religious devotion and attracts devotees from across the region.
