In the Lindsay Clancy trial, there were 12 members. When the final verdict came out, it was a mistrial.
But a breakdown of numbers shows eight jurors went for the position of ‘not guilty ‘, while initially two and then a lone one called it ‘guilty’ and the rest were undecided.
However, among the jurors who concluded Clancy was guilty, one has now broken his silence after days in the spotlight for his decision.
In an interview with Fugitive TV’s Ray Marcel, Michael P. Desronvil cast doubt on his fellow jurors, specifically those who opted for the not-guilty verdict.
According to him, those eight jurors wanted a not-guilty verdict since day one of deliberation.
“He said that from day one, he said eight of them were going for Linday Clancy not guilty. That was on day one,” he said.
The juror recalled, “Eight were going not guilty. Two were for guilty. And two didn’t know. They didn’t make up their mind.”
Then, P. Desronvil claimed, “He said to him those eight felt like they were activists. Every day they would vote. The eight who felt that Lindsay was not guilty were trying to convince the other four, ‘Hey, Lindsay is not guilty.’”
Clancy’s trial’s next hearing is set for Sept. 29.
