For Paramount+, Landman becomes a key hit. But fans waiting for its third season have gotten an update on shooting from one of its actors, James Jordan, who portrays Dale.

In an interview with Us Weekly, he shares, “It’s going to be fantastic. Taylor is writing as we speak. It’s going to be 10 crazy, wonderful, funny and wild episodes — just like season 1 and season 2 have been. Billy Bob and everybody, we’re all ready to get back to work.”

Jordan also hints at director Stephen Kay’s return.

“I believe we’re bringing back the same director, Stephen Kay, who I adore. So it’s going to be a great ride,” he shares.

“We start that sometime in September, and we’ll shoot that through the first quarter of next year.”

“Then we should have it out … I don’t know when. It’s up to the powers that be, but we’re very excited to get started on that,” the actor shares.

Aside from the expected director return, Jordan also shares that no cast change is expected and all familiar faces will return.

“No, I would not be concerned [about my future on the show],” he adds. “I don’t know everything, but I would not be concerned.”

Along with assuring the entire cast returns, Jordan then shares how they are excited to work again on Landman.

“Everybody’s very excited to get back to work. It’s going to be a great time. We’re pumped to get back to the Fort Worth area and shoot season 3,” he concluded.
