Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has reportedly been arrested again in Dubai, just weeks after being released from Al Awir prison.
The 43-year-old businessman was taken into custody on Friday and brought to Lahab Police Station, per The Sun. The report claims he is trying to raise £120,000 to settle an outstanding debt.
A source alleged that Andrews told a friend, “They’ve arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a GoFundMe.”
The insider added that Andrews had been under major stress in the days leading up to the second arrest because of the debts.
Katie, 48, is currently in the UK after the release of her Sky documentary Nothing to Hide and a recent appearance on This Morning, where she defended her relationship with Andrews despite ongoing scrutiny.
The second arrest comes roughly a month after Andrews was released from Dubai’s Al Awir prison. While reports said he was in detention due to fraud allegations, Andrews has consistently denied those claims, instead insisting he was abducted at gunpoint after being mistaken for a spy.
In a previous Instagram post, Andrews insisted there was “not one shred of evidence” showing he had been charged with fraud and accused his former fiancée, Alana Percival, of spreading false claims about him. He also claimed he was taken to the Qatar border at gunpoint and briefly assaulted before being detained.
Over recent months, several former partners have accused Andrews of financial misconduct, allegations he has repeatedly denied.
Among them is Dina Taji, who alleged Andrews took out a £200,000 mortgage in her name without her knowledge. Legal action reportedly led to a travel ban on him, restricting him from leaving the United Arab Emirates.
Another ex-partner, Crystal Janke, accused Andrews of convincing her to invest £123,000 in his company with promises of a substantial return, while former fiancée Alana Percival has also publicly accused him of deceiving her.
Reports last week suggested Andrews had been given two weeks to settle outstanding debts or risk returning to prison. Court documents reportedly show liabilities including around £54,000 linked to a rental vehicle and £15,000 owed to a UAE law firm.
A representative for Andrews told The Sun that he appeared before the court and explained he had been unable to access the bank account needed to make payment because his wife was out of the country.
The spokesperson said Andrews requested an additional 14 days to clear the outstanding amount.
Another source claimed Andrews avoided immediate imprisonment after assuring authorities he would be able to raise the money himself. He added that while Price has supported him throughout his legal issues, she has not paid off his debts.
Earlier this week, Price revealed on This Morning that her family also still refuses to meet Andrews because of the controversy that has made her relationship look like a “gimmicky joke.”
Price also said Andrews is still determined to travel to the UK once his said travel restrictions are lifted.
