Meghan Markle is said to be fearful of what Kate Middleton is up to, and the reason has just been leaked.
For those unversed with the rift between the families, some say it started on the day of bridesmaid dress talk for Princess Charlotte– when Meghan was to be married. Since then the rumor mill has been working overtime with reports, admissions and even personal accounts by the Spare himself about the rift.
However, there is one key difference between then and now, that being the couple’s move to the UK. Reports suggest this has changed the way the Royal Family is handling their move.
Apart from allegedly offering the cold shoulder, a well placed source spoke to Closer Online.
They say, “Meghan is convinced this sudden effort by Kate to be seen out and about doing all these meet and greets is aimed at outdoing her and Harry and showing them how it’s done, so to speak.”
They’ve also said, “she’s still not on speaking terms with Kate, so Meghan feels like all this manoeuvring is happening behind her back, which makes it that much worse. Any chance of reconciliation between the two seems to be slipping further away by the day.”
What’s worse as the insider describes it is that, this ‘Saint Katherine’ rhetoric “has really amplified since they came back, and it’s incredibly hard for Meghan to take because it’s so obvious that she’s being painted as the villain by contrast.” They also say, “Meghan doesn’t ever badmouth Kate; she’s so adored that it would be a terrible mistake, but it’s clear she’s not pleased with the way she and Harry have been treated since they arrived back.”
Before concluding the source also said, “there is this sense of defiance about her right now, it’s like she’s put on this shield and is ready to go to battle. She doesn’t want to be combative; in fact, she would love it if they could have peace, but she’s very clear she won’t be coming on bended knee to get it.”
