Megan Fox is reportedly set to return for a sequel to the 2009 cult horror film Jennifer’s Body.
Director Karyn Kusama and writer Diablo Cody, who worked on the original film, are also expected to return, Dread Central reported.
While Fox will reprise her role as Jennifer, it is not yet known if Amanda Seyfried will reprise her role as Jennifer’s best friend, Anita.
Reports also suggest filming for Jennifer’s Body 2 will begin in Vancouver in October.
The first film followed high school cheerleader Jennifer, who becomes possessed after a failed ritual performed by an indie rock band. She later turns into a demon who feeds on her male classmates, while Anita tries to stop her.
Although Jennifer’s Body performed poorly at the box office and received mixed reviews when it was released in 2009, it has since become a cult classic, especially among horror fans.
The sequel could mark a major return for Fox, who has appeared in only a few acting projects in recent years. The Transformers actress was last seen in the 2024 sci-fi thriller Subservience and the comedy series Overcompensating.
