Jennifer Meyer opens up about having ex-husband Tobey Maguire officiate her wedding to new husband

Jennifer Meyer has opened up about having her ex-husband, Tobey Maguire, officiate her wedding to her new husband, Geoffrey Ogunlesi, describing the decision as unconventional but fitting for their family.
The jewellery designer married Ogunlesi on 10 October 2026, with Maguire serving as the officiant. The detail emerged after paparazzi photographs from the ceremony circulated online.
Speaking in a new feature with Vogue, Meyer reflected on the wedding and explained why having her former husband involved made the occasion particularly meaningful.
“I genuinely felt like I was floating on cloud nine,” Meyer said. “I had zero jitters, just pure happiness. Having our three children and our parents walk down the aisle made it even more special. And having Tobey, my ex-husband, officiate was so special. A little unconventional, but so perfectly us.”
Meyer and Maguire married in 2007 and separated in 2016. Their divorce was finalised just days before her second wedding.
They share two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17. Meyer also welcomed a child with Ogunlesi earlier this year.
Meyer has previously spoken warmly about her relationship with Maguire since their separation.
In an interview with People, she called him “the most A+ human being I know”.
“When Tobey and I broke up, it was very clear immediately that Ruby and Otis came first, and we really cared about each other as people, and we wanted to be in each other’s lives no matter what,” she said.
Meyer also explained that the former couple continue to celebrate holidays, birthdays and other occasions together, highlighting their commitment to co-parenting.
She added that Maguire and Ogunlesi have a positive relationship, saying: “And Geoff loves him and he loves Geoff. And so everything just works.”
