Proof of Love will feature on new vinyl editions of Lopez’s 2011 album LOVE?, which are being released for the first time on vinyl. The project includes a special edition pressed on cherry-red vinyl, with pre-orders opening on October 28, 2026.
Originally released as Lopez’s seventh studio album, LOVE? featured some of her best-known songs, including On the Floor featuring Pitbull, I’m Into You featuring Lil Wayne and Papi. The album blended dance-pop sounds with themes of romance and relationships.
The new track is part of a wider return to the recording studio for Lopez, who said she has been writing some of the best songs of her career. She has also hinted that more new music will follow Proof of Love, describing the upcoming songs as fun.
Lopez’s return to the studio comes as she adjusts to a new stage in her personal life following her twins Max and Emme leaving home for university. The singer has described the transition as painful, sad and frightening, explaining that becoming an empty nester has left her with more time to reflect on what comes next.
