
Gold market sees modest upswing in Pakistan
KARACHI: A slight uptick was recorded in gold prices across the country here on Wednesday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs600 per tola, reaching Rs352, 900.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs514, now standing at Rs302,297.
On the international front, the price of gold also witnessed a modest gain of $6, bringing the global rate to $3,345 per ounce.
Earleir, Gold prices in Pakistan recorded no changes in line with the upward trend in international markets on June 10, 2025.
According to the Saraffa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola stood at Rs358,400 without any change, while the rate for 10 grams hovered at Rs307,270.
Similarly silver rates have recorded no change as one tola priced at Rs3,586.
Market experts attribute the ongoing volatility to uncertain trends in global bullion trading and the fluctuating value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.
