The show will return next week for Halloween-themed Horror Movie Night, as the competition reaches its halfway point
Dancing With the Stars delivered an emotional Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, as 10 remaining celebrity contestants honoured the people who have shaped their lives through heartfelt performances.
The ABC competition featured tributes to family members, loved ones and influential figures, with former professional dancer Kym Johnson joining the judging panel as a guest judge.
Paralympian Ezra Frech earned the season’s first perfect 10 from Johnson as he dedicated his contemporary routine to his mother, scoring 37 out of 40.
Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn received 38 out of 40 for her emotional tribute to her sister, while actress Jenna Dewan scored 37 despite a last-minute change to her professional partner.
Alan Bersten stepped in for Val Chmerkovskiy, who was suspended for one week.
Actress Tatyana Ali honoured her late Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star James Avery with a Viennese waltz, joined by host Alfonso Ribeiro.
Meanwhile, Maura Higgins dedicated her paso doble to Ireland, scoring 35 out of 40.
The evening concluded with an appearance by the cast of 10 Things I Hate About You, as Julia Stiles paid tribute to her late co-star Heath Ledger.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gabrielle Union, Susan May Pratt and Andrew Keegan joined the reunion on the ballroom floor.
Despite the emotional performances, no contestant was eliminated. The remaining couples will return next week for Halloween-themed Horror Movie Night, as the competition reaches its halfway point.
