Criticism of Erika Kirk is fair game, says Megyn Kelly

Part of the reason Erika Kirk is facing criticism is that she decided to stay in the public eye by becoming CEO of Turning Point USA, Megyn Kelly said while appearing on Piers Morgan on the first anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s death.

She said she wished people would move on but she said “criticism of Erika Kirk is a fair game.”

Speaking about Charlie Kirk’s widow, Kelly said, “The way Erika could avoid that is by not being the CEO of Turning Point. And she and I have had many conversations about this together.

The conservative political commentator said, “I would personally like to see her take some personal time just so she can remove herself from the nonstop battering ram that is heading up a political organization in the United States of America and allow herself to just work on healing, helping her kids heal and herself heal.”

Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck during a debate at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Tyler Robinson has been charged with killing him, and a Utah judge ruled last week that prosecutors may seek the death penalty.
