Celine Dion is reportedly eager to make a comeback with more passion.
According to Radar Online, the My Heart Will Go On singer is making a return to the Paris stage after taking nearly three-year break.
She is said to be gearing up to perform 16 back-to-back concerts over a span of five weeks. Meanwhile, the show is set to take place at the Plénitude Arena in Nanterre, commencing on 12 September.
Reflecting on the pop icon’s upcoming concerts, a source told the outlet, “Celine has so much riding on this as far as her self-confidence and even her legacy.”
“It could be disastrous if it doesn’t go according to plan, because she’s a very sensitive person with extremely high expectations of herself,” the source added.
They further revealed that the people close to her fear that things may not go as per her expectations, saying, “They’re worried that she’s trying to do too much, too soon.”
However, the Canadian singer is willing to give her finest effort: “She’s insisting she’s in really good shape going into this and thankfully she’s been rehearsing in a sensible way without pushing herself too hard.” The source also noted how her family is playing a major role in motivating her.
“They are cheering her on all the way, and right now she’s determined to stay positive, give this everything she’s got and to hell with the risks,” they stated.
It is pertinent to mention that Celina Dion has 10 more concerts stacked up for May 2027.
