Brad Pitt has reportedly asked a judge to compel Angelina Jolie to provide financial records connected to their ongoing dispute over Château Miraval, according to a report by RadarOnline.
The filing reportedly concerns financial documents from 2017 to 2019. Pitt’s legal team claims Jolie had previously agreed to provide broader profit-participation statements before withdrawing that agreement.
According to the filing, “On Feb. 23, 2026, Jolie withdrew her agreement.” Pitt’s side reportedly pointed to emails that it says documented Jolie’s earlier agreement to provide the records.
The filing also reportedly proposed an alternative that would allow Pitt’s side to withdraw its requests if Jolie agreed to two stipulations.
These would state that she was not under “economic pressure” before January 1, 2020, and that Pitt did not exert “economic coercion” between 2017 and 2019.
Jolie’s filing reportedly disputes the need for the financial information and states that she “has never alleged” financial distress.
Her legal position instead focuses on privacy and separating her finances from those of Pitt during their divorce.
According to the filing, Jolie’s allegations concerned separating “her financial life” from her former spouse.
It also states that she had “never returned to Miraval” following an alleged September 2016 incident and wanted to sell her interest in the estate to “dissociate” from events she associated with it.
