
Army chief offers Eid prayers with soldiers, praises operational readiness against terrorism.
ZHOB: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Zhob on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, where he observed Eid prayers and spent the day with troops deployed along Pakistan’s western border, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the visit, the Field Marshal offered Eid prayers alongside officers and soldiers, extending Eid greetings to all ranks serving in the region.
He also prayed for Pakistan’s peace, prosperity, stability, and for the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country.
ISPR stated that the Field Marshal commended the exceptional professionalism, operational preparedness, and unwavering vigilance of troops engaged in securing the western frontier.
He particularly appreciated their response to challenges posed by foreign-sponsored terrorism and their continuous efforts to safeguard national security.
He lauded the armed forces for maintaining a high level of combat readiness and discipline under difficult conditions, and acknowledged their sustained sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
The Field Marshal’s visit, according to ISPR, reflected strong solidarity with frontline troops and reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to defending the country and ensuring lasting peace and stability.
