Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s legal team warned ahead of new scandal film

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is expected to be depicted in an upcoming film that dramatises several major scandals involving public figures, including events tied to his own downfall.

The film, The Janitor, centers on a publicist character who works to manage scandals involving powerful individuals. One scene, titled “The Table of Filth,” reportedly recreates parts of the fallout surrounding the former prince, though producers have not yet confirmed who will play him.

Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles last year after his association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. He was arrested earlier this year and remains under investigation. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Reports say his legal team was given the opportunity to share his perspective before the film’s script was finalised, but he chose not to participate. Buckingham Palace also did not respond to inquiries about the project, per Daily Mail.

The film reportedly includes scenes referencing publicly known allegations connected to Virginia Giuffre, who has said she was forced into sexual contact with Mountbatten-Windsor when she was a minor, an accusation he has denied. Giuffre passed away last year.

A source close to the production said the filmmakers have taken significant legal precautions ahead of the film’s release, describing the project as addressing serious past controversies within British public life.

Producers have also suggested a US television adaptation may be considered in the future.
