AI race intensifies as Adobe introduces CX Enterprise

New CX Enterprise platform aims to automate customer engagement as rivals like Anthropic and OpenAI expand capabilities.

Adobe has unveiled a new suite of artificial intelligence tools aimed at helping corporate clients automate and personalize their digital marketing activities as it moves to stay competitive against rapidly advancing AI solutions from startups like Anthropic.

The launch comes at a time when the broader software sector is facing pressure with a selloff triggered by the growing capabilities of AI tools that can increasingly replace or streamline human tasks.

This shift has raised concerns among investors particularly as companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic continue to introduce more advanced autonomous systems.

Despite these concerns Adobe’s shares saw a modest rise of 2.2% in morning trading although the stock has declined by nearly 30% since the beginning of the year.

Adobe said its newly introduced platform called CX Enterprise, leverages AI agents to help businesses better manage and enhance customer interactions, offering more efficient and personalized engagement strategies.

To strengthen its offering, Adobe is also partnering with major technology players including Amazon, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Nvidia, ensuring that its AI system can function smoothly across a wide range of platforms.

Meanwhile, Anthropic has also stepped up competition by introducing “Claude Design,” an experimental feature that allows users to create visual content such as prototypes, slide presentations, and one-page documents directly through its chatbot, signaling a new phase in AI-driven creative tools.
