Taylor Swift recently got candid and opened up about what she had to face after Brad Paisley went all out with a prank.
During her speech after she was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at Music City Center in Nashville on Monday, October 26, the pop sensation revealed that Paisley, who introduced her to the stage on his 2007 tour, once went “too far” with a prank.
As per the report of Rolling Stone, Swift said, “We’ve been estranged since 2007. He took a tour prank too far, filling my entire tour bus with live crickets, thousands of them.”
“For months I couldn’t sleep. All night I considered buying a pet lizard to eradicate the problem,” the 14-time Grammy winner recalled.
Swift, the Life of a Showgirl hitmaker, was a teenager in 2007 when she was one of the openers for Paisley’s Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour. After that, they also appeared together at several music events.
It is pertinent to mention that Paisley was among the guests who attended the wedding ceremony of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on July 3 at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City.
