Noah Kahan appears to tease new song for ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’

Noah Kahan has seemingly teased his long-rumoured song for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping with a new video featuring a snippet of unreleased music.
The singer shared the clip through his secret TikTok account, @thelastofthebugs, which has previously been used to share cryptic updates and snippets connected to his music. The new video features woodland scenery, a campfire and Kahan playing guitar, accompanied by a previously unheard song.
The clip comes as speculation surrounding Kahan’s involvement in the upcoming Hunger Games film continues to grow. Fans have linked the song to Sunrise on the Reaping after Kahan previously teased that he had been given an opportunity to work on a film project, while refusing to reveal further details.
Kahan also shared lyrics in August that are now believed by fans to be connected to the project. The lyrics begin with “I carry you on” and include the line “I draw you out”, leading fans to connect the unreleased song to a track titled Draw You Out.
That connection became stronger after the official Sunrise on the Reaping soundtrack tracklist was revealed, which includes a song called Draw You Out. The soundtrack announcement did not initially reveal the artists behind the songs, leaving fans to speculate over which track could belong to Kahan.
The new video has intensified that speculation, particularly because the imagery and sound fit the folk-driven musical style associated with previous Hunger Games soundtracks. Fans have also pointed to Kahan’s repeated use of insect imagery through his @thelastofthebugs account as another possible clue.
Kahan’s potential involvement in the film has been rumoured for months. He previously appeared to reference The Hunger Games while performing in Texas and later acknowledged during the 2026 Emmys that he had been working on a film-related project, although he did not name the project.
While neither Kahan nor the Hunger Games team has officially confirmed that Draw You Out is his song, the latest video has given fans another major clue that the singer could be part of the Sunrise on the Reaping soundtrack.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, based on Suzanne Collins’ novel, is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 20, 2026.
