Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently opened up about working under tension on the set of Seinfeld.

For those unaware, the 65-year-old American actress and comedian played the role of Elaine Benes in the American television sitcom created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, which aired from July 1989 to May 1998, with a total of nine seasons consisting of 180 episodes.

Benny Blanco, Kristin Batalucco, and Lil Dicky’s show, Friends Keep Secrets, hosted Louis-Dreyfus for an episode, which was released on Tuesday, September 1.

While reflecting on her journey as an actress in the entertainment world, she got honest about the nerve-racking experience on the Seinfeld set when Batalucco asked her if there was “ever any friction,” and she abruptly responded, “Of course. Yes. Tons.”

Showing his disbelief, Batalucco asked, “Oh, really?” and the Thunderbolts* star confirmed by saying, “Yeah.”

Louis-Dreyfus went on to explain, “I mean, it’s hard to do anything really well, and it takes a lot of work, and you’re going to butt heads.”

Notably, the set was not immune; however, people supported each other in their capacity.

“I mean, sometimes there was an argument,” but working alongside an ensemble cast felt like “just being friends together and just hanging out,” Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared.

It is pertinent to mention that Netflix is streaming all nine seasons of Seinfeld.
