
Several domestic and international flights were canceled, while others faced delays at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to airport sources, Airblue flights PA-410 from Lahore to Dubai and PA-411 from Dubai to Lahore were canceled. Similarly, flydubai flights FZ-359 from Dubai to Lahore and FZ-360 from Lahore to Dubai were also canceled.
Sources added that Saudi Arabian Airlines flights SV-732 from Jeddah to Lahore and SV-733 from Lahore to Jeddah were canceled as well. In addition, Fly Jinnah flight 9P-842 from Karachi to Lahore could not operate due to the disrupted situation.
On the other hand, Flydubai flight 9P-500 to Sharjah was delayed by around 8 hours and 15 minutes, while Airblue flight PA-412 to Sharjah departed about one and a half hours late. Flight KE-582 to Bishkek was also delayed by one and a half hours.
Airport officials said the delays and cancellations were caused by technical issues, and efforts are being made to assist passengers and reduce inconvenience.
