Zimbabwe captain expresses gratitude for warm Pakistani Welcome

Zimbabwe cricket team captain Sikandar Raza, who was born in Pakistan, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the country as the team wrapped up their tour and headed home.

Posting on social media platform X, Raza thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the people of Pakistan for their warm welcome and hospitality. He added, “We can, InshaAllah, come back once more.”

The Zimbabwe team came to Pakistan to take part in a tri-nation series together with Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Originally, Afghanistan was also scheduled to play in the series. But, because of political tensions and pressure from India, the Afghanistan Cricket Board withdrew from the tournament.
