LONDON: An unexpected visitor caused a stir at Lord’s Cricket Ground when a fox ran onto the pitch mid-game.
The unusual incident occurred during The Hundred fixture between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles, when a fox entered the field, prompting officials to temporarily stop the game.
Lord’s, famously known as the “Home of Cricket,” witnessed the unexpected visitor darting across the pitch before being safely escorted out.
This unique spectator provided entertainment to Lord’s cricket fans at the start of The Honduras, the fox’s arrival, shouting and clapping, while more than 26,000 spectators enjoyed the fox’s fleeing during the match.
After providing entertainment to the people, the fox went out of the ground with a sprint, on which fox declared the fox as a wild visitor.
The arrival of the wild visitor in this low scoring match was described as the most attractive thing.
