As with previous NFL championship games, the halftime show will take place after the second quarter concludes
Super Bowl Sunday is almost here, and for many viewers the highlight will be Bad Bunny’s headline performance during the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show rather than the New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks matchup.
Super Bowl LX kicks off at 6:30 pm ET on Sunday, February 8, 2026. As with previous NFL championship games, the halftime show will take place after the second quarter concludes.
Based on typical game pacing, Bad Bunny is expected to take the stage sometime between 8 pm and 8:30 pm ET, although the exact timing will depend on stoppages such as penalties, timeouts and injuries during the first half.
Bad Bunny’s appearance marks a milestone for the event. He is the first Latin male artist to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, following Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s joint performance in 2020. His selection comes shortly after a historic night at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year.
The halftime performance itself is expected to last between 25 and 30 minutes, significantly longer than a standard NFL halftime, which usually runs for 12 to 15 minutes. While no official set list has been released, fan speculation suggests the show could open with “Tití Me Preguntó”, with other popular tracks such as “Monaco” or “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” also widely discussed.
Viewers hoping to catch Bad Bunny’s first moments on stage are advised to tune in well before the anticipated window, as there is no precise way to predict the exact start time. Halftime can begin earlier or later depending on how the game unfolds.
Super Bowl LX will be broadcast live on NBC, with streaming available via Peacock. The game begins at 6:30 pm ET, with the halftime show airing mid-game between approximately 8 pm and 9 pm ET.
