Week-long school holidays announced
Schools across the United Arab Emirates will have midterm holidays for the first semester of the 2025–26 academic year.
The break will start on October 13 and continue until October 17, with classes resuming on Monday, October 20. All public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education curriculum will observe this holiday.
According to a circular issued by the school administration, teachers and administrative staff will take part in professional training sessions from October 13 to 15, and then they will be on leave from October 16 to 19.
Students will have a complete break from studies during this period, and regular classes will restart on October 20.
