Ty Burrell makes drastic decision in life: ‘No regrets’

Ty Burrell made a decision that many people questioned, but Ty was sure that he was making the right choice.
The 57-year-old left the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and began his new life in Utah.
Following the success of the popular ABC sitcom, Modern Family, he relocated to Salt Lake City for which he has ‘no regrets’.
In fact, he confessed to People in an interview published Sunday, August 3 that ‘it’s just been spectacular’.
“We moved here right after [“Modern Family”] ended, and I don’t have any regrets,” the Black Hawk Down actor shared with the outlet. “It’s been lovely and a great place to raise the kids.”
Ty and his wife Holly Burrell share two teen daughters: Frances (15) and Greta (13).
The pair has focused on the ‘outdoorsy’ way of life since the move.
Though he admitted that initially this new way of life didn’t come naturally to them as the Out of Practice actor acknowledged that his parents were very different; they weren’t ‘outdoorsy’ at all.
“So at first, when we moved here, it almost felt like cosplay, like we were pretending to be people who were outdoorsy, and now we really truly love it,” he added.
For the unversed, the American actor is currently starring in The Good Life, the scripted podcast series, loosely based on his own childhood.
Ty revealed that he is ‘itching’ to get back at what he is good at doing. He has opted to do some voice over work so as to be able to continue living the life he is living right now.
