ISLAMABAD:
A milk shop owner allegedly killed two people, including the owner of a local dairy farm, for being refused milk supply on credit in the Shehzad Town area late on Tuesday.
Police said that the suspect, identified as Yasir Gujar, the purported owner of Gujjar Milk Shop in Al-Habib Market (under Aabpara Police limits), allegedly opened fire on two men following a disagreement over credit-based milk deliveries.
The victims, identified as Nazar and Sabir, were reportedly owners of a local cattle pen and had been supplying milk to Yasir for an extended period.
Initial investigations indicated that on Tuesday night, Yasir Gujar visited the dairy to collect his routine supply of milk. However, he was informed that his outstanding balance had reached Rs1.5 million and that further supply would only be provided on a cash basis.
This led to a heated argument, during which the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and fatally shot both men before fleeing the scene. The victims reportedly died at the spot.
Their bodies were taken into custody and transported to a hospital for autopsy.
