Turkish anthem ‘Muslim’ pays tribute to Pakistan as “Become of Hope for the Ummah”
A new Turkish anthem titled “Muslim” is going viral on social media, and it’s striking a deep chord with listeners across the Muslim world. Released by Istanbul Sounds Konya and voiced by renowned Turkish singer Ahmet Aydın, the emotionally charged anthem is more than just a song; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the struggles and resilience of the Muslim Ummah.
The anthem highlights the ongoing hardships faced by nations like Iraq, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Palestine, while also applauding Pakistan’s diplomatic and strategic support during these times. It presents Pakistan as a guiding force and a symbol of unity and strength in the Muslim world.
Notably, the song includes a powerful reference to Pakistan’s leadership in the “battle for truth” against India, using evocative language to portray this as a victorious stand for justice. The anthem also honors Pakistan’s top military leadership, particularly Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with the Pakistan Air Force and Armed Forces, portraying them as torchbearers for the entire Muslim Ummah.
While it may appear to be just a nationalistic anthem, “Muslim” carries a much deeper meaning; it echoes the real emotions and aspirations of Muslims globally, and it showcases Pakistan’s elevated status in the eyes of the Muslim world.
