Travis Kelce turned heads at Kansas City Chiefs training camp by unveiling a new buzzcut, replacing his signature longer locks.
The NFL star was seen smiling as he took the field in St. Joseph, Missouri, sporting the dramatic haircut during the team’s Back Together Weekend session on Sunday.
Photos from the practice quickly circulated online, with fans reacting strongly. One social media user wrote, “rip the luscious locks,” while another joked, “an angel lost its wings.” Some even called him a “90s heartthrob” mourning the style change.
Kelce has been preparing intensively for the 2025–26 NFL season, having spent his offseason training privately in Florida. Chiefs coach Andy Reid praised his physical condition, saying, “He’s svelte right now. He’s doing a great job. He’s in great shape.” Reid added, “You can see he’s been working out.”
The tight end himself opened up about his preparation, noting that he had finally found time to focus on “form running” and fitness fundamentals. “This year, I got some time to really focus… I’m certainly feeling good,” Kelce said last month.
Off the field, Kelce also enjoyed a busy break with girlfriend Taylor Swift. The couple spent time together in Florida and New York, even sharing personal moments from a Montana getaway.
